This week in science, we will be talking about physical and chemical changes. We will review what we already know about distinguishing between a physical and chemical change and dig a little deeper with new information about chemical changes. Students will work with their groups to identify, observe, and measure evidence of a chemical changes during class labs and activities. They will work together to evaluate their evidence and figure out the identify of an unknown substance based on what they already know. We will complete several notes pages in our journals and get some new vocabulary definitions as well. They will not receive a printed vocab list for this unit.
